Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake has chosen ACDC black ice - spoilin for a fight as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Danny Drake has the eye of the tiger tonight.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Drake! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stein tries to clinch but Drake moves out of range. Stein clinches up against the cage. The referee calls for Drake to work.

Good shot there by Drake. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Stein dodges the punch combination from Drake.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stein bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Drake is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Drake is looking for a sweep. Stein connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Drake some visible discomfort.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Stein will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

A nice elbow there by Stein. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drake can do anything to dispel that myth. Stein prevents Drake from getting the reversal. Stein landing strikes from the mount and Drake is in trouble! Stein postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Drake looks a forlorn figure.

Stein has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Drake's face.

Drake is looking to improve his position but Stein isn't that keen on the idea. Drake is in a horrible position here. Stein smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
