The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shunkov lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Johnson Jr gets caught flat footed, as Shunkov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Johnson Jr is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Shunkov wants to stand but Johnson Jr is controlling his posture from full guard.
Shunkov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Shunkov wants to control from the top but Johnson Jr keeps moving.
Shunkov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Johnson Jr manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Johnson Jr working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Shunkov turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Johnson Jr off and cradles Shunkov's limp body as Johnson Jr celebrates with his corner.
