The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pchelenko closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Mathers Lll counter with a right hand.
Mathers Lll misses with a wild combination.
Pchelenko tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mathers Lll counters with a left and a right that stings Pchelenko.
Pchelenko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pchelenko tries to clinch up but Mathers Lll circles away and keeps his distance.
Pchelenko lands with a nice body kick.
Pchelenko pushes Mathers Lll up against the cage in a clinch.
Pchelenko gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pchelenko tries to stand and escape but Mathers Lll is controlling the position.
Pchelenko is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Mathers Lll really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pchelenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mathers Lll looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pchelenko fails with an attempt to clinch.

Mathers Lll stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mathers Lll wants it to stay on the feet.

Pchelenko throws a lazy uppercut
and Mathers Lll counters with a left and a right that stings Pchelenko.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A punch lands to the side of Pchelenko 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Alexsandr Pchelenko has been cut.
Pchelenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pchelenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Mathers Lll finish him?
Bruce Mathers Lll has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexsandr Pchelenko.
Nice combo by Mathers Lll! Oh, that's hurt him - Pchelenko falls to the canvas and Mathers Lll follows him into side control.
Mathers Lll decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Pchelenko is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Mathers Lll moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Mathers Lll!
A very excited looking Bruce Mathers Lll rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
