Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Percy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyle Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thomas Percy! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Percy tries a head kick but it misses.
Taylor has Percy up against the cage in a clinch.
Taylor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Percy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Percy wants to break free but Taylor has control.
Taylor jumps guard but Percy stands there with Taylor around his waist. Taylor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Percy wants to stand but Taylor is controlling his posture from full guard. Percy wants to stand and escape but instead Taylor has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Taylor is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Percy keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully. Percy looking for a sweep. Not yet Percy, not yet. Percy keeping full guard, as Taylor tries to pass. Taylor wants to control from the top but Percy keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Taylor wanted to stand there but Percy had control of the position. Percy keeping full guard, as Taylor tries to pass. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Percy tries to clinch but Taylor is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Percy tries to clinch but Taylor moves out of range. Taylor scores a takedown into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Percy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Taylor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Percy is looking to escape. Taylor stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Percy has managed to clinch.
Taylor is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Percy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Percy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Taylor has him pressed against the cage. Percy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Percy misses with a knee to the head. Taylor has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Percy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Percy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Taylor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Percy circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor gets a clinch. Taylor tries to pull guard but Percy holds him up against the cage and eventually Taylor drops back down to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Taylor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Taylor avoids the head kick by Percy.
Taylor shoots in for a double leg but Percy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Percy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Percy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Percy throws a body punch but Taylor moves out of range. Percy stuffs the takedown attempt from Taylor. Taylor gets slowly back to his feet. Taylor rushes Percy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Percy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Percy is looking to break free of the clinch but Taylor has double underhooks. Percy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Taylor tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Percy smiles and moves away.

Taylor throws a right and a left that Percy avoids nicely. Taylor clinches up against the cage. Percy managing to block the knees to the body from Taylor.

And that's the end of the fight! Kyle Taylor showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Taylor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
