Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Khaled Brahim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Van Hook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brahim comes to the cage accompanied by The Taliban Song. Van Hook is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Cure's Close To Me. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Van Hook!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brahim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Brahim grinds an elbow into Van Hook's temple.
Van Hook is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Brahim off and has taken his back!
Van Hook misses with punches from the back.
Brahim is trying to break free.
Brahim tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Brahim is squirming around, avoiding Van Hook's attempts to control the action.
Brahim might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Van Hook landing strikes, looking to finish!
Brahim is looking to improve his position but Van Hook isn't that keen on the idea.
Poor strikes thrown by Van Hook there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Van Hook blocks Brahim's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Brahim wants to control but Van Hook is having none of it.
Van Hook is landing with some decent strikes but Brahim is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Brahim is trying to escape the mount.
Van Hook putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Brahim tries to hold on but Van Hook pushes him away.
Van Hook is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Brahim can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Van Hook breaks from Brahim's wrist control and lands an elbow.
A big strike lands for Van Hook! That's really hurt Brahim and he's turned his back - Van Hook keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Van Hook Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
