Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brett Butterfly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakke Ruutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruutu has chosen 50 Cent - I'm Supposed to Die Tonight as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jakke Ruutu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Butterfly shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ruutu eats them both and turns towards Butterfly to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Butterfly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ruutu manages to avoid it.

Butterfly lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ruutu or not.

Ruutu is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Butterfly is defending well for now.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Ruutu is pressed up against the cage. Butterfly has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ruutu down to the mat. Ruutu avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jakke Ruutu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Butterfly takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Butterfly shoots in for a takedown but Ruutu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Butterfly feints and then cracks Ruutu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ruutu down.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brett Butterfly.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Butterfly, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
