Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Winston Mcdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldo has chosen Jay Z - Run This Town as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jose Aldo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Winston Mcdonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jose Aldo! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcdonald changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aldo tries to avoid it but Mcdonald manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aldo to the ground. Aldo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A head kick misses from Aldo. Mcdonald really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Mcdonald has a takedown stuffed. Aldo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mcdonald napping and manages to drive through into side control! Aldo scoring with punches and elbows. Aldo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aldo is looking to take a break and control but Mcdonald is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Aldo misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Aldo is putting a hurting on Mcdonald here, landing some big shots from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aldo in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Mcdonald is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jose Aldo! After the fight, Jose Aldo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
