The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caesar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sedfenor pinned against the cage. Sedfenor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Caesar is defended easily by Sedfenor.

Sedfenor gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Caesar to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Caesar wants to pass the guard but Sedfenor is keeping the position.
Caesar pushes down on Sedfenor's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Caesar wants to pass to mount but Sedfenor is defending the position.
Caesar is trying to control the action in half guard but Sedfenor is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Caesar is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sedfenor is trying to stand up here but Caesar is controlling him well.
Sedfenor tries to roll over but Caesar keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caesar lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Caesar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sedfenor is staying active underneath Caesar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Caesar is controlling the pace.

Caesar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Caesar wants to pass to mount but Sedfenor is defending the position.

Sedfenor works his way to full guard. Good work.

Caesar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Caesar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Caesar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Caesar takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Caesar wants to control but Sedfenor is keeping him busy.

Caesar has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sedfenor defend it? Caesar steps over the head and cranks it - Sedfenor is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Caesar!
