The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbot throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barrett.
Abbot has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Abbot swings widly with a right hand
and Barrett connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Tony Abbot has been cut.
Abbot looks to score with a jab to the body but Barrett is just out of range.
A big left from Abbot misses.
Barrett keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Abbot.
Barrett misses the jab.
Abbot misses with an uppercut.
Barrett looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Barrett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Abbot.
Barrett bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Abbot's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Abbot lands with a right hand.
Barrett digs a good body shot into Abbot's ribs.
A slow jab from Abbot misses its intended target.
Barrett misses with a straight left.
Barrett takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A telegraphed right hand from Barrett misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barrett looks to land a right hand but Abbot moved out of range.
Abbot scores with a nice head shot.
Barrett lands a nice shot to the body.
Abbot scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Barrett misses with an uppercut. Abbot saw that one coming.
Abbot misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Abbot throws a hook but Barrett blocks it.
Abbot slips a straight right by Barrett.
Abbot misses with a straight left.
Barrett lands with a cross.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Abbot uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Barrett closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Abbot takes a shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Barrett gets through Abbot's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Barrett lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Abbot.
Barrett lands a right hand that snaps the head of Abbot backwards.
Abbot jumps guard but Barrett turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Barrett lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Barrett is working Abbot over against the cage.
Abbot is breathing heavily.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Barrett.
Barrett lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Barrett lands a right hand.
Barrett throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Abbots head.
Abbot is rocked!
Tony Abbot's cut is getting worse.
Barrett creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Abbot with a big uppercut! Abbot tries to clinch up but Barrett pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Abbot to the mat! Abbot covers up and Barrett unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
