Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Reede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jerry Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Reede!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Moore. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Moore.

Moore gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Reede throws a big elbow that misses.
Reede trying to control but Moore is working from the bottom.
Reede looking to pass the guard.

Reede decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Moore, up you get!
Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Reede swinging wildly here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Reede clinches up against the cage.

Reede escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Reede looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Reede wants to pass the guard but Moore is keeping the position.
Reede wants to get up but he can't break Moore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Moore manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Reede moves into range and clinches up with Moore.

Moore gets control of Reede's arms and successfully pulls guard. Moore will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Moore is adopting a defensive guard.
Reede trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Moore controls Reede momentarily but Reede frees himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Jerry Moore wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Reede gets a clinch.

Moore tries to pull guard but Reede forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Reede has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Moore clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Moore is in a bad position with Reede working for a choke. Moore manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Moore controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Reede will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Reede is trying to control the position but Moore postures up.
Moore trying to control but Reede is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jerry Moore wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Moore tries to sprawl but Reede drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Reede stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Moore to get to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moore looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Reede dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Reede pushes Moore up against the cage in a clinch.

Reede breaks from the clinch.
Moore throws an overhand right that lands on Reede's shoulder, as Reede tries to avoid the shot.
Reede misses with a straight left.

Reede darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Dan Reede has got the better of the ground game so far.

Reede is looking for a kimura here.
Reede is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reede throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Moore regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Reede.
Moore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Reede throwing strikes but missing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Reede trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Reede decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Reede fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Moore sprawls well initially but Reede persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Moore makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Reede has closed the distance and engaged Moore in a clinch.
Moore keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Reede's efforts to push away.
Reede scores with a shoulder strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Moore tries to pull guard but Reede won't allow it.
Reede lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Moore is trying to pull guard but Reede turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Reede's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Reede misses with an attempted mid kick.

Reede takes the fight into the clinch.
Moore fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerry Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reede is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Moore is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Reede jumps guard.
Reede wants to get back to his feet but Moore is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Moore wants to stand but Reede has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reede is trying to keep Moore in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Reede showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Reede throws a push kick but Moore slaps the foot to one side.

Reede drives through and clinches with Moore against the cage.
Moore tries to pull guard but Reede won't allow it.

Moore decides to pull guard.
Moore is looking to stand up but Reede isn't so interested in that idea.
Reede trying to control the position from guard on top but Moore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Moore striking off his back but it's not causing Reede any problems.
Reede advances to half guard.
Reede trying to control from half guard but Moore is working away.
Moore has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reede is working away from the top position though.
Moore is refusing to be controlled, as Reede sits in half guard.

Reede gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Moore gets caught napping as Reede dives in and scores a takedown. Moore manages to retain guard.

Moore is working an open guard so Reede takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Reede takes the fight into the clinch.
Reede displaying some good clinch control by pressing Moore up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Reede works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reede stays in close to Moore's body and controls the position.
Moore looking for a sweep. Not yet Moore, not yet.
Reede wanted to stand there but Moore had control of the position.
Reede takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Reede passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Moore tries to bench press Reede off him but Reede keeps the position.
Reede wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moore keeps working.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Moore tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reede wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Reede wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy.
Reede tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Moore is trying to buck Reede off.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dan Reede comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Reede has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
