Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has chosen Sandaless - Wojownik as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nathan Cortez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rafal Wallace! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cortez throws a good cross that connects.
Cortez ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Wallace with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cortez to score with a decent uppercut. Cortez misses with a two punch combination.

Cortez lands with a nice body punch. Wallace closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cortez's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Cortez working for a triangle but Wallace defends it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wallace wants to stand but Cortez has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cortez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wallace doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wallace manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cortez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wallace defends well.

Wallace with a nice head shot there. Wallace wanted to stand there but Cortez had control of the position. Wallace must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cortez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wallace can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cortez has his feet on Wallace's thighs here. He's pushed Wallace off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Wallace screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
