Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dale Bunga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Greg Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Bunga.
Bunga misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bunga misses with a double jab.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Johnson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bunga - the referee stops the clock and Johnson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bunga. Johnson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Johnson looks winded!
Bunga lands a nice leg kick that just misses Johnson's sensitive parts.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bunga.
Bunga lands with a thumping leg kick.
No joy there for Bunga, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bunga scoring well with a low kick there.
Johnson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bunga can pounce on him.
Johnson on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bunga throws a leg kick which misses Johnson's front leg but catches the back leg as Johnson tries to avoid it.
Bunga feints and then cracks Johnson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Johnson down.
Bunga lands a big head kick that sends Johnson tumbling to the mat! Bunga takes a step backwards and waves Johnson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bunga lands with a kick to the ribs.
Bunga turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Look low, kick high! Bunga uses the oldest trick in the book to send Johnson tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Bunga is absolutely delighted - when Johnson wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dale Bunga!
