Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Margold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Sopha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Margold! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Sopha! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Margold scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sopha in his tracks.
It looks like Will Sopha has been cut. Margold drops Sopha with a nice combination! Margold dives into Sopha's guard, looking to finish!
Sopha is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Margold advances to half guard. Sopha is still in real trouble! Can Margold finish him? Sopha looks gassed! Margold is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sopha seems to have recovered his senses. Margold keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Margold decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Margold fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Margold shoots in for a takedown but Sopha shows good takedown defense. Margold shoots in for a double leg but Sopha sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Margold. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sopha clinches up with Margold and pushes him back against the cage. Sopha has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Margold is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sopha misses with a hook from the clinch. Margold goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sopha prevents it.
Sopha manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Margold looking to sit in guard and control but Sopha gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sopha gets to his feet. Margold looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Sopha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Margold changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sopha tries to avoid it but Margold manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sopha to the ground. Sopha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Margold looks for a takedown but Sopha sprawls well. Margold scores with a one two! Sopha had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sopha fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sopha drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Sopha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Margold swivels though and keeps the full guard. Margold controlling the position. Margold has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sopha can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sopha won't allow Margold to sweep him here. Sopha would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Margold being controlled here, momentarily. Sopha throws and elbow that misses. Margold uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sopha's guard. Nice move by Margold! Margold pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sopha is keeping the position for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sopha is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Jimmy Margold dominated that round. The cut man is working on Will Sopha's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Margold gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sopha counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Margold is looking to control Sopha's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Margold avoid being mounted? Sopha not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sopha trying to control from Margold's half guard. Margold has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Margold keeping moving, preventing Sopha from controlling successfully. Margold bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sopha's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Margold trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sopha wants to stand but Margold is controlling the position. Margold stands and steps away. Sopha gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Margold thows a leg kick but Sopha checks it and Sopha counters with a head kick. That will keep Margold thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Margold gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sopha counters by moving into the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sopha. Margold is pressed up against the cage. Sopha has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Margold down to the mat. Margold avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Sopha circles away from the clinch attempt and Sopha counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Margold!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Margold regains half guard. Sopha seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Margold has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sopha is working away from the top position though. Sopha missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Margold is trying to control but can't.
Sopha postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Margold to stand up. Sopha scores with a punch to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Margold shoots in but Sopha avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Margold. That's going to take a lot out of him. Margold closes the distance looking to clinch so Sopha counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sopha tries to stand but Margold is controlling from the bottom. Sopha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Margold swivels though and keeps the full guard. Margold controls Sopha momentarily but Sopha frees himself. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Margold holds on and takes a little breather.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Margold lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sopha! Margold trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sopha takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Will Sopha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Will Sopha's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
No luck for Sopha with that takedown attempt. Margold shoots in but no luck this time. Margold misses with a takedown and Sopha counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sopha. Sopha trying to stand up but can't free himself from Margold's guard. Margold looking for a sweep. Not yet Margold, not yet. Sopha must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sopha wanted to stand there but Margold had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Margold is looking for a triangle but Sopha pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Margold is on top in guard.
Sopha throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Margold escapes and throws Sopha's legs to the side, diving into side control! Sopha is looking to get back to his feet here but Margold is keeping cool and he's managed to take Sopha's back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Margold wants to control but Sopha manages to buck him off and is now in Margold's guard! Nice work there by Sopha! Margold looking for a sweep. Not yet Margold, not yet. Margold keeping busy on the bottom but Sopha has passed one foot through into half guard.
Margold tries to roll over but Sopha keeps him under control. Will Sopha has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Margold is trying to maintain the position but Sopha is very close to passing his half guard. Sopha stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Margold to get to his feet. Sopha forces Margold back against the cage and clinches. Margold goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sopha prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Margold. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sopha changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Margold fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sopha shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Margold's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sopha postures up in Margold's guard and throws a big left but Margold blocks it. Sopha slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Margold preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sopha is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Margold is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Margold has escaped and now he's on top! Sopha lands an upkick as Margold stands over him.
And that's the end of the fight! Will Sopha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sopha has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
