Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cory Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rustam Bidienko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cory Fox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rustam Bidienko!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bidienko closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fox did well to prevent Bidienko getting side control.
Bidienko trying to mount his opponent but Fox defends it.

Bidienko is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fox has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bidienko not doing much here.
Fox has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bidienko is working away from the top position though.
Fox won't allow Bidienko to pass to mount.

Fox manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Bidienko keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Bidienko gets control of Fox's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bidienko will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Fox really is a fat lump.
Bidienko seems keen to control Fox's posture.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Bidienko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bidienko just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Fox just trying to survive but Bidienko is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Fox defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bidienko's arms.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bidienko slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Rustam Bidienko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Fox's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Bidienko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bidienko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bidienko wants to finish this one by submission but Fox is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bidienko.
Bidienko avoids the attempt from Fox to control.
Bidienko pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Bidienko working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Fox is looking for a sweep. Bidienko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fox pushes Bidienko off looking to stand but Bidienko dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bidienko seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Bidienko is trying to work for a kimura but Fox is defending well.
Bidienko tries to pass to full mount but Fox defends it.
Bidienko takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bidienko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fox keeps working.

Fox has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bidienko is working away from the top position though.
Bidienko is taking a breather. Fox says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Bidienko tries to stand but can't do so whilst Fox controls his leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rustam Bidienko was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Fox gets caught napping as Bidienko dives in and scores a takedown. Fox manages to retain guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rustam Bidienko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bidienko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
