Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raven Lucas!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lucas sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lucas shoots in but no luck this time.

and Gotti makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've been informed that Lucas has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Lucas throws a lazy right hand but Gotti sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gotti looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Gotti sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Gotti seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lucas for as long as he can get away with.
