Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charles Whitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Naymov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whitman comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome To The Jungle. Naymov has chosen Grot-Bratya po umolchaniyu as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naymov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Naymov is looking to clinch but Whitman is avoiding it.
Charles Whitman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Whitman. No joy for Naymov on that attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Whitman scores with a head kick. Naymov tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Whitman goes for a small jab and connects. Now Whitman goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Naymov stumbles back but Whitman runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Naymov to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Naymov will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
