Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samson Miodek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kieron Radebe!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radebe throws a lazy head kick
and Miodek counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Miodek lands a jab.
Radebe tries a low kick but Miodek avoids it.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Radebe. Miodek shrugs it off though.
Radebe lands a really nice looking cross but Miodek seems unphased.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miodek looks for the body kick but Radebe saw that one coming.
Radebe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Radebe looks to land a body kick but Miodek moved away.
Radebe misses with a head kick.
Radebe just misses with a punch to the body.
Miodek misses with a body kick.
A head kick misses from Radebe.
Radebe connects with a nice looking jab.
Kieron Radebe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Miodek stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Radebe.
Radebe takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Miodek misses with a body kick.
Radebe drops Miodek with a beautiful combination! Miodek stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Radebe is looking for the KO!
It looks like Samson Miodek has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miodek wants to slow Radebe down by chopping away at his legs.
Radebe throws a sloppy head kick and Miodek moves out of range easily.
Radebe on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Miodek throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Miodek takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Radebe goes for a small jab and connects. Now Radebe goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Miodek stumbles back but Radebe runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Miodek to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Miodek will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kieron Radebe!
Kieron Radebe very nearly forgot to thank Milwaukee's Best 160 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
