Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danielson closes the distance and pushes Robinson back into the cage.
Danielson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Robinson backwards.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Robinson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Robinson is looking to break free of the clinch but Danielson has double underhooks.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Robinson can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Danielson wants to control but Robinson is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robinson shoots in but Danielson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ray Danielson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Robinson.
Danielson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Robinson's sensitive parts.

Danielson sends Robinson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Danielson is motioning to the referee to let Robinson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Robinson is still on wobbly legs! Can Danielson finish him?
Robinson is breathing heavily.
Robinson leaves his chin hanging out and Danielson seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Robinson crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
