The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Thompson scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Dan Daman has been cut.
Daman takes one on the button.
Thompson lands with an overhand left.
Thompson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Daman throws out the jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thompson avoids the head kick by Daman.
Daman thows a body shot but no joy.
Thompson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Daman tries a head kick but it misses.
Daman just misses with a punch to the body.
Daman tries to clinch but Thompson moves out of range.
Thompson lands a big right hand that sends Daman crashing to the mat! Thompson stays standing though and waves Daman back to his feet!
Daman is rocked!
Daman looks up at the clock. Bad move! Thompson lands a right hand from hell, dropping Daman. Thompson pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trey Thompson!
