The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Rodrigues does no damage.
Lowe blocks a head kick by Rodrigues.

Walter Lowe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rodrigues throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lowe was covering up waiting for the punch and Rodrigues finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lowe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Rodrigues wants to control from the top but Lowe keeps moving.

Rodrigues manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lowe's best efforts.
Rodrigues trying to hold on to Lowe's head to control him but Lowe postures up.
Lowe is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Rodrigues is looking to sweep but instead, Lowe has passed into half guard.

Lowe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rodrigues manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lowe drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rodrigues gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Rodrigues feints and as Lowe raises his hands in defense, Rodrigues changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lowe wants to stand up but Rodrigues is controlling him.
Lowe throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rodrigues uses it to pass to side control.

Rodrigues tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rodrigues has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lowe regains half guard there - taking advantage of Rodrigues's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rodrigues tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lowe knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Rodrigues is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rodrigues stalling away here and it's allowed Lowe to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Felipe Rodrigues was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Rodrigues throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lowe tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rodrigues is in Lowe's guard.
Lowe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rodrigues looking to sit in guard and control but Lowe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lowe trying to control the position from guard on top but Rodrigues is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Felipe Rodrigues comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rodrigues has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
