PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sale J (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Bimbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think J might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The March of the Pori Regiment. Kimbo Bimbo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
J misses with a looping right.
Bimbo looks to land a body kick but J moved away.
Bimbo misses with a few strikes there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bimbo, as that shot connected.
J looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bimbo is looking to clinch.
Bimbo tries to clinch up but J circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice takedown defense from Bimbo. No joy for J on that attempt.

J gets a takedown into half guard.
J prevents Bimbo from standing back up.

Bimbo makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close round but I would say that Sale J will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

J shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bimbo's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bimbo is staying active underneath J, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

J is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bimbo defends it well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sale J.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for J, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
