Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ken Kahne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahne uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smith.
Kahne is looking to score with low kicks.
Kahne moves away from the strike by Smith.
Smith closes the distance and clinches.
Smith lands with a left to the head.
Nice elbow from Smith.
Kahne swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Smith lands an elbow inside that Kahne shrugs off.
Smith tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kahne avoids it.
Kahne wants the takedown. Smith is fighting it off but Kahne persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Smith's guard against the cage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kahne throws a strike but Smith rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kahne is looking to cinch up a triangle. Smith throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kahne's body to avoid the submission. Kahne has instead reached around Smith's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kahne arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
