Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sun Jian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nayvy Seal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jian has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nayvy Seal enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nayvy Seal!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seal misses with a looping left.
Seal looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jian misses with a looping left.
Seal tries for a takedown but Jian sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Seal shoots in but no luck this time.
Jian takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Jian avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Jian counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jian lands a nice shot that snaps Seal's head back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Seal looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Seal shoots in looking for a takedown. Jian tries to sprawl out of it but Seal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sun Jian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nayvy Seal.
Seal throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jian counters by moving into the clinch.

Seal shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jian as he avoids it easily.
Seal walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Seal takes one on the button.
Seal tries to keep at a distance but Jian has taken the fight into the clinch.

Seal wants a takedown.
Jian stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Jian looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Seal is trying to push Jian away but Jian has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Seal's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Seal's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Seal wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jian has had enough of the clinch but Seal keeps him there for the moment.
Jian's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Seal with a poor takedown
enabling Jian to counter with a crisp jab.
Seal is rocked!
Nayvy Seal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jian drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Seal right on the button. Seal goes down! Jian follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Jian gets the win via TKO!
