Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Owen Rasmussen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solidus Snakeeee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snakeeee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: biffy clyro get lucky. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Owen Rasmussen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Solidus Snakeeee! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snakeeee clinches with his opponent.
Rasmussen misses with a body punch.
Rasmussen tries to throw a body punch but Snakeeee avoids it by throwing Rasmussen back against the cage. Rasmussen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A momentary lapse in concentration from Rasmussen enables Snakeeee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rasmussen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Snakeeee looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Snakeeee wants to control from the top but Rasmussen keeps moving. Snakeeee is stalling in the full guard. Snakeeee trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rasmussen's guard. Rasmussen pulls Snakeeee in close to prevent any damage. Rasmussen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Solidus Snakeeee has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Rasmussen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snakeeee moves into the clinch successfully.
Rasmussen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Snakeeee smiles and moves away.
Snakeeee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Rasmussen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rasmussen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Snakeeee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rasmussen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Snakeeee paws at him with a jab and circles away. Snakeeee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Solidus Snakeeee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight moves into the clinch position. Snakeeee breaks the clinch.
Owen Rasmussen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Snakeeee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Snakeeee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Snakeeee looks winded! Snakeeee misses with the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rasmussen is trying to get back to half guard. Rasmussen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Snakeeee is looking to take a break and control but Rasmussen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rasmussen is trying to maintain the position but Snakeeee is very close to passing his half guard. Rasmussen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snakeeee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snakeeee's back! Snakeeee staying busy and making it hard for Rasmussen to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rasmussen connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Snakeeee to escape the position.
Rasmussen lands a shot to the body. Even with his hooks in, Rasmussen manages to miss with strikes from the back. Rasmussen trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Snakeeee doesn't escape. Rasmussen throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Will Rasmussen go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Rasmussen punches the canvas rather than the man. Rasmussen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Snakeeee avoids the strikes from Rasmussen. Rasmussen struggling to keep hold of the position.
Rasmussen is hanging on to Snakeeee's back as he tries to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snakeeee is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Snakeeee is covering up but some of the strikes from Rasmussen are getting through and doing damage.
Snakeeee covers up after that shot from Rasmussen.
Rasmussen loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Snakeeee hold on?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rasmussen really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Snakeeee. Rasmussen is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Rasmussen gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Rasmussen gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Rasmussen apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Rasmussen instigates a clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rasmussen manages to break the clinch.
Rasmussen defending well as Snakeeee loads up on a big left hand. Rasmussen tries to clinch but Snakeeee is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Owen Rasmussen will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Snakeeee is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rasmussen's half guard. Rasmussen is positioning himself well to prevent Snakeeee advancing to mount. Rasmussen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Snakeeee is working away from the top position though. Snakeeee controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rasmussen works his way to full guard. Good work. Rasmussen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rasmussen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Owen Rasmussen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Snakeeee is breathing heavily. Rasmussen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasmussen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Snakeeee defending well though. Rasmussen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rasmussen throwing shots but Snakeeee is blocking nicely. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rasmussen connects with a nice short shot to Snakeeee's temple. Rasmussen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rasmussen stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Rasmussen is looking to clinch but Snakeeee is avoiding it.
Snakeeee attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Snakeeee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Snakeeee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Snakeeee working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rasmussen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Rasmussen manages to get to full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rasmussen is on top in guard.
Rasmussen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rasmussen trying to control but Snakeeee is working from the bottom. Rasmussen is really struggling to control Snakeeee but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rasmussen throws a big right hand that misses. Rasmussen working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Rasmussen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rasmussen controlling from the top position. Rasmussen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rasmussen stands up and waves to Snakeeee to follow him. Owen Rasmussen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rasmussen tries to clinch up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snakeeee dives in and scores a takedown into Rasmussen's guard. Snakeeee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Snakeeee preventing the sweep. Rasmussen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Snakeeee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rasmussen is tightening it up a little... Snakeeee has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Snakeeee reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Snakeeee taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rasmussen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Owen Rasmussen! Solidus Snakeeee was interviewed post fight and said 'The ref screwed me, i got poked in the eye, kicked in the nuts, a finger up my bum and the ref did nothing. I Demand a rematch'.
