The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaruga darts in and clinches Crosby up against the cage.
Yaruga ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yaruga no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Yaruga has Crosby pulled in close to control his posture.
Crosby is looking to work some ground and pound but Yaruga has wrist control.
Crosby throws a strike but Yaruga rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yaruga connects with a couple of short punches.
Crosby knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yaruga on the ground.
Crosby wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Yaruga manages to pass to side control.
Yaruga is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Yaruga keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Crosby is looking to improve his position.
Yaruga is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yaruga has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Crosby defend it? Yaruga steps over the head and cranks it - Crosby is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Yaruga!

A relieved looking Peter Yaruga thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
