Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iikka Nikkinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Guts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iikka Nikkinen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Guts! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nikkinen tries to clinch up but Guts circles away and keeps his distance. Guts circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nikkinen clinches up against the cage. Nikkinen has Guts pushed against the cage. Guts breaks the clinch.
Nikkinen scores with a kick to the midsection. Guts keeps the fight on the outside. Guts tries to clinch but fails miserably and Nikkinen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nikkinen. Nikkinen tries to free his leg and advance position but Guts is retaining full guard. Guts looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nikkinen is one step ahead there. Guts wants to stand up but Nikkinen is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nikkinen postures up in Guts's guard and throws a big left but Guts blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nikkinen stands up and waves to Guts to follow him. Nikkinen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nikkinen tries to clinch up and Guts counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Nikkinen shoots and misses so Guts counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Nikkinen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nikkinen holds on and takes a little breather. Guts has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nikkinen is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guts wants to control from the top but Nikkinen keeps moving. Nikkinen seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Guts trying to control the position from guard on top but Nikkinen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nikkinen controlling Guts's posture. Guts tries to stand but Nikkinen is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guts trying to control but Nikkinen is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Guts clinches up against the cage. Guts managing to block the knees to the body from Nikkinen.
Nikkinen successfully pulls guard.
Nikkinen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nikkinen keeping moving, preventing Guts from controlling successfully. Guts decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Nikkinen is breathing heavily. Guts throws a right and a left that Nikkinen avoids nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guts misses with a takedown and Nikkinen counters with a good low kick that Guts was not able to check. Nikkinen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Guts manages to break the clinch.
Nikkinen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Nikkinen sitting in guard, not really doing much. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nikkinen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Guts for as long as he can get away with. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iikka Nikkinen dominated that round. The cut man is working on Johnny Guts's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nikkinen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nikkinen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Guts looks like he's trying to stand up.
Nikkinen uses his free foot to push down on Guts's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Guts. Guts tries to hold on but Nikkinen pushes him away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guts trying desperately to get to his feet.
Guts is looking to get to half guard. Nikkinen working away from the top, dropping strikes. Nikkinen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guts is looking to escape. Nikkinen looking to control and managing it successfully. Guts taking shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Guts is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Nikkinen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Nikkinen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Guts hang on? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nikkinen lands a heavy elbow. Iikka Nikkinen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nikkinen looking to control and managing it successfully. Nikkinen with shots to the head and body - Guts looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guts is looking to get to half guard. Nikkinen cracks Guts with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Guts tries to control Nikkinen's body but Nikkinen pushes him off. Guts squirms to his side and now Nikkinen has his back! I would not like to be Guts right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nikkinen working for the choke. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Guts is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Nikkinen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iikka Nikkinen dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Johnny Guts's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Nikkinen misses the body punch and Guts moves into the clinch. Guts breaks from the clinch.
Nikkinen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Guts's calf. Nikkinen tries to clinch up and Guts counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Nikkinen is trying to keep Guts in close.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Iikka Nikkinen just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nikkinen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Guts is refusing to be controlled, as Nikkinen sits in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Guts is looking to get back to is feet but Nikkinen passes into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guts wants to control but Nikkinen postures up. Nikkinen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Guts to his feet. Nikkinen shoots in but no luck this time. Guts swinging wilding here.
Guts darts in trying to clinch and Nikkinen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Guts won't be happy with that. Guts manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nikkinen's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nikkinen trying to control from Guts's half guard. Guts has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Nikkinen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Nikkinen wants to control from the top but Guts keeps moving. Nikkinen is really struggling to control Guts but he's trying to hold on to the position. Nikkinen looking to pass the guard. Guts controls Nikkinen momentarily but Nikkinen frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nikkinen controlling from the top position. Nikkinen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Guts fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nikkinen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Nikkinen trying to control the action but Guts is working from the bottom. Nikkinen stands up and beckons Guts to his feet. Johnny Guts has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Guts throws a hook to the side of Nikkinen's head but Nikkinen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And that's the end of the fight! Iikka Nikkinen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nikkinen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
