Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deidara Zetsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zetsu comes to the cage accompanied by Make Me. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

31 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eli Williams! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zetsu moves into the clinch. Zetsu with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Williams can't get the takedown.
Zetsu misses with a punch on the inside.
Zetsu tries to land knees in the clinch but Williams avoids the damage to the body. Zetsu stalling.
Zetsu is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Williams is defending well for now. Zetsu tries to work over Williams's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Zetsu throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Williams blocks it with crossed arms. Zetsu working Williams over with knees to the body. The referee is keeping an eye on Zetsu - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

It looks like Eli Williams has been cut. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Zetsu trying to land knees to the body.

Zetsu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Zetsu misses with a hook from the clinch. Zetsu is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Zetsu misses with a hook to the ribs.

Williams gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Zetsu is trying to control the position from the bottom.
This has been an exciting period of action! Williams slips nicely into half guard. Williams trying to control from Zetsu's half guard. Zetsu has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Zetsu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Williams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams trying to control but Zetsu is working from the bottom. Williams won't allow Zetsu to sweep him here. Williams landing some decent shots from guard. Williams wants to control from the top but Zetsu keeps moving. Zetsu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Zetsu keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Zetsu trying to keep a closed guard but Williams is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Williams preventing the sweep. Williams has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Zetsu keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Williams might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zetsu haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Williams postures up in Zetsu's guard and throws a big left but Zetsu blocks it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Zetsu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Deidara Zetsu will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Eli Williams's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Zetsu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively. Deidara Zetsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Zetsu checks a leg kick. Williams takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Zetsu is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Williams has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Zetsu. Williams smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zetsu tries to clinch but Williams moves out of range. Williams lands with a kick to the temple. Zetsu shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That's one minute gone in the round. Williams tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Zetsu connects with a right hand. Williams shakes it off. Zetsu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Zetsu connects with a solid leg kick. Williams throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Williams avoids a kick to the body.
Zetsu misses with a low kick as Williams jumps back. Zetsu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Williams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Zetsu scores with a nice strike. Deidara Zetsu is winning the standup battle so far. Nice straight punches there by Zetsu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Zetsu. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zetsu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Williams on the side of the head. Williams pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Williams is looking to score with low kicks. Williams is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Zetsu slips under a jab. Williams pushes Zetsu away with a front kick. Zetsu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Zetsu missing with a left hand there. Williams was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Zetsu cracks Williams with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Zetsu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zetsu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A punch combination from Zetsu misses. A telegraphed right hand from Zetsu misses the target. Williams defending well as Zetsu loads up on a big left hand. Zetsu connects with a right hand. Williams shakes it off. The fighters circling - Zetsu throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Williams dodges the punch combination from Zetsu.

Zetsu fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Williams stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Zetsu. Williams ducks under a wild hook from Zetsu. Zetsu misses with a body kick. Williams changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Williams connects with a looping right hand.
Williams fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zetsu avoids it really well and circles away. Williams ducks right into an uppercut from Zetsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zetsu thows a body shot but no joy. Zetsu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Williams. A leg kick checked by Williams. Williams takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Zetsu shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Williams eats them both and turns towards Zetsu to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Zetsu lands a head kick!
Zetsu needs to keep his hands up - Williams had a free shot at his head there. Zetsu ducks under a wild hook from Williams. Williams lands a head shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Zetsu checks the leg kick. Williams tries to keep at a distance but Zetsu has taken the fight into the clinch. Zetsu pressing his opponent against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Deidara Zetsu dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Zetsu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Williams dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Good standup being displayed there by Zetsu as he connects with a hook. Zetsu throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Williams makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Williams misses with an uppercut. Zetsu saw that one coming. Zetsu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Zetsu throws a low kick but Williams moves out of range easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Zetsu tried to score with a low kick but Williams checks it. Zetsu slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat. Zetsu tries to clinch but Williams moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zetsu but Zetsu pushes him off and we're back to square one. Deidara Zetsu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eli Williams. A leg kick checked by Williams. Williams takes one to the chin there. Zetsu cracks the inside of Williams's front leg. Zetsu lands with a nice body punch. Zetsu looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nice straight punches there by Zetsu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Zetsu. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zetsu moves to clinch but Williams breaks away and Williams counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Zetsu's corner calls for a 1-2. Zetsu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Zetsu throws a body punch but Williams moves out of range. Williams lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zetsu sprawls well. Zetsu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet. Decent striking displayed by Zetsu there. Zetsu lands a body shot.
Deidara Zetsu is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Williams misses the shot to the body. Zetsu throws a head kick that misses. Williams walks into a jab. Zetsu misses with a head kick.
Zetsu scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Williams's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zetsu under the eye. Williams throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Deidara Zetsu. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zetsu, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
