The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonaparte takes the fight into the clinch.
Gruber wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bonaparte misses with a punch on the inside.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Bonaparte tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gruber's elbow.
Bonaparte cracks Gruber with a nice body shot.

Bonaparte throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Gruber jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bonaparte walks away with a smile on his face. Gruber gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A punch lands to the side of Bonaparte 's head but he takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bonaparte sizes up Gruber with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Bonaparte looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Napoleon Bonaparte has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Gruber.
Bonaparte unloads a knee to the mid-section. Gruber lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Bonaparte pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Gruber is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bonaparte to keep the fight standing.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gruber blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Gruber is trying to push Bonaparte away but Bonaparte has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gruber looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gruber tries to bum rush Bonaparte with a series of wild strikes but Bonaparte uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bonaparte cracks a nice hook into Gruber's ribs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gruber. Bonaparte does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gruber swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bonaparte closes the distance and pushes Gruber back into the cage.
Gruber wants to take the fight to the mat but Bonaparte manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bonaparte lands a shot to the body.
Bonaparte gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Gruber is rocked!
Bonaparte jerks Gruber's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Gruber drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Bonaparte goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Bonaparte because Gruber was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Napoleon Bonaparte!
