Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buddy Morales! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morales quickly recovers to half guard. Morales really is a fat lump. Morales is looking to improve his position.
Morales might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Morales is trying to control but can't.
Morales regains full guard. Nicely done. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Morales wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones content to stall in guard here. Morales is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morales pushes Jones off but Jones dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales wants to get back to his feet. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Jones wants to stand but Morales is controlling his arm. Morales prevents Jones from moving into mount. Morales wants to control but Jones postures up. Jones stands up and beckons Morales to his feet. Morales tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Morales moves to clinch but Jones breaks away and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Morales. Jones gets the takedown into side control. Morales manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morales gets full guard. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jones tries to stand but Morales is controlling from the bottom. Jones looks winded! Morales is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Morales has control of Jones's left arm, preventing Jones from doing any damage. Morales is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Jon Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Jones rushes Morales and presses him up against the cage. Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones instigates a clinch. Morales stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Morales closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away. Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Jones misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jones cracks Morales with a nice body shot. Jones turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones just content to control the position. Morales struggling a bit here. The referee asks Jones politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jones prefers to stall for the moment though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Morales knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Morales is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jones is controlling him well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Morales struggling a bit here. Morales being controlled for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones tries to bum rush Morales with a series of wild strikes but Morales uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Morales shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Morales wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard. Morales stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Morales stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Morales rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Morales looking for a takedown. A battle for position here, against the cage. Jones manages to break the clinch.
Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Morales! Jon Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Morales is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Jones controlling the pace. Morales is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to take a breather but Morales is having none of it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Morales works his way to full guard. Good work. Morales manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jones tries to hold on but Morales pushes him away. Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morales is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jones is surviving well by controlling Morales's body position as best he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones working to try and regain half guard.
Morales looking to control and managing it successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth. Morales trying to control but Jones is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones wants to control but Morales is having none of it. Jones is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morales has hold of Jones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morales has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though. Morales pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Morales looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jones rushes Morales and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jones avoids it. Jones breaks the clinch.

Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jones has clasped his hands together around Morales's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Morales tries to improve position but can't. Jones working away. Morales manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Morales makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morales. Jones preventing the sweep. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones won't allow Morales to get back to his feet. Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Morales is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morales looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Morales controlling the position. Morales trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a series of punches but Morales moves out of range. The fight moves into the clinch position. Morales pulls Jones into guard.
Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Morales wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Morales controlling the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Morales is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jones wants to control from the top but Morales keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jon Jones. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
