Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Russell Lynn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Russell Lynn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Russell Lynn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Nelson! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Chris Dean and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynn catches Nelson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Roy Nelson has been cut. Lynn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nelson throws a leg kick that misses. Lynn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nelson. The crowd cheers as Lynn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nelson doesn't seem phased though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lynn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lynn has closed the distance and engaged Nelson in a clinch.
Lynn pressing his opponent against the cage. Nelson jumps guard but Lynn stands there with Nelson around his waist. Nelson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nelson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lynn fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lynn tries to score with a low kick but Nelson moves his leg out of the way. Lynn takes one on the button. Lynn connects with a body shot. Lynn clinches up against the cage. Nelson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lynn pulls his leg out and moves away.
Russell Lynn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Nelson. Nelson misses with a hook
letting Lynn counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lynn throws a right hand that Nelson ducks under and follows up with a left that Nelson also avoids with ease. Lynn connects with a body shot. Nelson looks winded! You can follow us on Twitter at...Ooooooh Nelson got wobbled bad by a big combination! Lynn presses forward with punches and knees until Nelson stumbles to the ground! The ref watches Nelson closely before deciding to step in and end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russell Lynn! After the fight, Russell Lynn was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
