Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Balisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfredo Benebidez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Benebidez's choice of entrance music: Make War. Christopher Balisi has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Christopher Balisi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alfredo Benebidez! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balisi throws a right hand that Benebidez ducks under and follows up with a left that Benebidez also avoids with ease. Sloppy strikes from Balisi. Those never looked like landing. Benebidez darts in looking for a takedown but Balisi gets double underhooks and turns Benebidez into the cage. Benebidez goes for a takedown attempt but Balisi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Balisi. What's Benebidez going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Benebidez tries to bench press Balisi off him but Balisi keeps the position. Balisi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Balisi tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Benebidez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Benebidez is looking for a sweep. Balisi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Balisi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benebidez is trying to improve his position. Balisi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Benebidez is still trying to improve position. Balisi tries to stand but Benebidez is controlling his head. Benebidez tries to get back to half guard but can't. Balisi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Benebidez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Benebidez can't do much from the bottom here. Balisi wants to stand but Benebidez has his arm trapped. Benebidez struggling a bit here. Balisi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Benebidez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balisi tries to stand but Benebidez is controlling his head. Benebidez tries to bench press Balisi off him but Balisi keeps the position. Benebidez is trying to control Balisi's posture but Balisi avoids it. Benebidez sneaks back into half guard. Benebidez has his hands clasped together around Balisi's back. He's all about the action. Benebidez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Balisi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Balisi's back! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Benebidez looking for the RNC. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Benebidez has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Balisi is in real trouble here. Benebidez gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Balisi is tapping out! Benebidez wins by rear naked choke!
