Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OConnell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
OConnell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bobby swats him away and circles back towards the center.
OConnell throws a nice looking combination but Bobby bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johnny OConnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OConnell stuffs the takedown.
OConnell fails to land with a series of punches.
Bobby misses with a two punch combination.
Bobby fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. OConnell sprawls well initially but Bobby persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bobby wants to control but OConnell is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bobby stands up and beckons OConnell to his feet.

OConnell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bobby moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bobby takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
OConnell misses with the combination.

OConnell stuffs the takedown attempt from Bobby. Bobby gets slowly back to his feet.
OConnell throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
OConnell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bobby tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but OConnell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bobby throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around OConnell's waist but OConnell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bobby off to one side.
Johnny OConnell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BadAss Bobby.
Bobby decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
OConnell is not content to let Bobby control the position.
OConnell is breathing heavily.

Bobby is looking for a kimura but OConnell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bobby to get the leverage.

OConnell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bobby shoots for a takedown but OConnell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bobby tries to keep at a distance but OConnell has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bobby throws a combination but it was largely blocked by OConnell.
OConnell wants to clinch up but Bobby keeps it at a distance.
OConnell lands with a nice body punch.
Bobby shoots in but no luck this time.
OConnell moves in looking to clinch but Bobby pushes him off.
OConnell moves into the clinch successfully.
OConnell has had enough of the clinch but Bobby keeps him there for the moment.
Bobby doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Bobby tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
OConnell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
OConnell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bobby but Bobby pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bobby throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and OConnell counters with a nice body kick.
OConnell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
OConnell blocks a head kick by Bobby.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

OConnell closes the distance but Bobby moves to the side
and Bobby counters with a takedown into side control.

Bobby throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Bobby stands up.
Bobby dodges the punch combination from OConnell.
OConnell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bobby swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
OConnell throws a leg kick
so Bobby counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
OConnell can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bobby controls the pace.

Bobby wants to control from the top but OConnell keeps moving.
Bobby has gone for a leg lock! OConnell slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bobby's guard.

Bobby keeping moving, preventing OConnell from controlling successfully.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bobby wants to control but OConnell passes easily into half guard.
OConnell is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bobby is pressing down on OConnell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

BadAss Bobby showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

OConnell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bobby throws a punch but it's blocked by OConnell.
OConnell wants to break the clinch but can't.
OConnell wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
OConnell prevents a takedown attempt there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
OConnell drags the fight down to the ground.
Bobby makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Bobby drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but OConnell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bobby has OConnell in his guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
OConnell stops Bobby from standing up.
Bobby is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bobby working a defensive guard but OConnell manages to pass into side control anyway.
Johnny OConnell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
OConnell thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bobby tries to control but OConnell manages to take his back.
And that's the end of the fight!
