Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Goatboys Child (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flowyn Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Child comes to the cage accompanied by Bill Hicks - Goatboy. Flowyn Waters is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Goatboys Child! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Flowyn Waters! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waters tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Child swivels and escapes. Child gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Child is working for a submission of some sort.
Waters is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Child's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Child's back! Waters has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Child has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Child could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Child is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Child rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Child manages to get to full guard.
Waters drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Child manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Waters has Child in his guard. Waters controls Child momentarily but Child frees himself. Child has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Child tries to free his leg and advance position but Waters is retaining full guard. Child has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Waters looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Waters has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Child can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Waters has his foot on Child's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Child works his way back into a safe position though. Child looking to pass the guard. Child postures up.
Child is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Waters is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Waters has escaped and now he's on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Child is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Waters is aware though and is defending well. Child is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Child is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Waters defends it well. Child is working for a kimura here but Waters manages to reverse the position and he's now in Child's guard.
Child is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Waters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Waters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Child is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Waters is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Waters drops back looking for a leg! Child is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Child manages to kick Waters off! Waters jumps back into Child's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Waters trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Goatboys Child dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Waters will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Child decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Waters is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Child trying to control from half guard but Waters is working away. Child uses his free foot to push down on Waters's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Waters. Waters manages to regain half guard. Good work. Child looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Child trying to control from Waters's half guard. Waters has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Child trying to control the position from guard on top but Waters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Child sitting in guard, not really doing much. Goatboys Child overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Waters looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Child has picked Waters up and slammed him! Waters can't keep hold of the triangle and Child manages to pass to side control! Waters sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Waters trying to control from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Waters won't allow Child to pass to mount. Waters has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Child is working away from the top position though. Waters wants to get back to full guard. Waters is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Child's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Child's back! Waters tightening his grip on Child, looking for the choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Child defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Waters's arms. Child tries to roll but Waters sticks to his back.
Child breaks Waters's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Waters is trying to hold Child in close to prevent damage but Child has managed to pass into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Waters is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Child pulls his head out easily. Waters is trying to maintain the position but Child is very close to passing his half guard. Child passes the guard and advances to mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Waters wants to hold on but Child pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Goatboys Child will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Child looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Waters is looking to control Child's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Waters avoid being mounted? Waters is looking to improve his position.
Waters gets full guard. Waters is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Child looking to sit in guard and control but Waters gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Child looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Child keeping full guard, as Waters tries to pass. Waters drops back, looking for a kneebar! Child looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Child looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Child! Waters is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Waters's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Waters tries to improve position but can't. Child tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Waters tries to improve position but can't. The referee asks Child politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Child prefers to stall for the moment though. Child has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Child looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Waters wants to control but Child postures up. Waters is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Child is trying to move to mount but Waters reverses beautifully and ends up in Child's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Waters has gone for a leg lock! Child slips out almost immediately though and dives into Waters's guard. Child looking to pass the guard. Waters trying to keep a closed guard but Child is proving a slippery customer.
Child trying to control the position from guard on top but Waters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Flowyn Waters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Goatboys Child is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Child not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that's the end of the fight! Goatboys Child showed his dominance in that final round. Well Child has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
