Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewey Foley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peter Bennett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dewey Foley!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Foley is able to avoid easily.
Bennett takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Foley's coach down at Basics -LOD- was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Foley's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Foley checks a low kick from Bennett.
Foley connects with a right hand. Bennett shakes it off.

Bennett shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Foley's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bennett is in close to Foley's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bennett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Foley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bennett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bennett postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bennett is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Bennett has gone for a leg lock! Foley slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bennett's guard.

Foley is looking to stand up but Bennett won't let him.
Bennett manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Foley manages to get himself to full guard.

Bennett not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bennett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bennett throws a big elbow that misses.
Bennett is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Bennett is stalling in the full guard.

Bennett passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bennett looks up at the clock and then as Foley takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bennett smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bennett is looking to take a break and control but Foley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bennett scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Foley to see if he's OK.

Bennett in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Foley is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Bennett tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Foley takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bennett wants to lay and pray for a moment but Foley keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bennett throws a low kick but it's checked well by Foley.
Foley lands a jab.
Foley throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bennett looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Foley lands with a right and another and another! Bennett is in big trouble! Foley lands again and this time it's lights out for Bennett! A quality knockout there for Foley.
