Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean McMorrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mustaffa Spliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean McMorrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Mustaffa Spliff!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spliff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McMorrow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McMorrow avoids the head kick by Spliff.
McMorrow keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Spliff.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Spliff, right into the meat.
McMorrow thows a body shot but no joy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Spliff. McMorrow does a little dance to reset his feet.
McMorrow just misses with a punch to the body.
Spliff lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Spliff moves out of range of the strikes.
McMorrow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

McMorrow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Spliff is looking for a sweep.
McMorrow gets to mount! Spliff was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Spliff regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spliff is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Spliff gets back to full guard.

McMorrow postures up and lands a big shot to Spliff's brow.

Spliff looking for a guillotine here but McMorrow defends easily.

McMorrow is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Spliff had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McMorrow defends it easily.
McMorrow wants to pass the guard but Spliff is keeping the position.
Spliff looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but McMorrow puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

McMorrow is taking a breather. Spliff says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Spliff is looking for a sweep. McMorrow is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McMorrow thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Spliff avoiding damage under a succession of punches from McMorrow.
McMorrow prevents Spliff from improving his position.
Spliff wants to control but McMorrow is keeping busy.
McMorrow stalling.

McMorrow thows a huge punch but Spliff dodges it nicely.
Spliff is looking to control McMorrow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Spliff avoid being mounted?

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nice body kick there by McMorrow.

McMorrow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Spliff.
McMorrow wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Spliff moves into the clinch.

Spliff breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Spliff takes a kick to the side of the head.
Spliff takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A low kick from McMorrow is predictable there
and Spliff counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

McMorrow scores with a jab to the body.
McMorrow misses with a shot to the body
and Spliff counters with a left to the body.
McMorrow is looking to wear down Spliff with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Good standup being displayed there by McMorrow as he connects with a hook.


Spliff is rocked!
McMorrow throws a sloppy head kick and Spliff moves out of range easily.
McMorrow swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Spliff counters with a head kick.
McMorrow throws a leg kick that misses.
Spliff stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
McMorrow takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Spliff chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McMorrow can pounce on him.
McMorrow does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McMorrow is defended easily by Spliff.
Spliff connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean McMorrow dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Spliff bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

McMorrow lands a head kick that stumbles Spliff and the fighters go to the mat.
Spliff is still in real trouble! Can McMorrow finish him?

McMorrow is in close to Spliff's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Spliff looking to hit a scissor sweep but McMorrow is one step ahead there.
Spliff is trying to control the position from the bottom.
McMorrow throws an elbow that misses. Spliff uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McMorrow's guard. Nice move by Spliff!
Spliff seems to have recovered his senses.
McMorrow looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Spliff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McMorrow swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McMorrow is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Spliff is looking to work some ground and pound but McMorrow has wrist control.
McMorrow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spliff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McMorrow swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Spliff is pushing down on McMorrow's leg trying to pass to half guard. McMorrow is fighting to maintain full guard but Spliff has managed to sneak the leg through.
McMorrow tries to roll over but Spliff keeps him under control.
Spliff wants to control but McMorrow is keeping him busy.

Spliff chips away with some ground and pound.

Spliff postures up in McMorrow's guard and throws a big left but McMorrow blocks it.

Spliff working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McMorrow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McMorrow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sean McMorrow will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

McMorrow ducks right into an uppercut from Spliff.
Spliff takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Spliff counters with a big head kick but McMorrow shrugs it off.
A chopping leg kick lands by McMorrow.
McMorrow throws a body punch but Spliff moves out of range.
McMorrow dives in for a single leg takedown but Spliff sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Spliff fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McMorrow manages to avoid it.

McMorrow looks to land a right hand but Spliff moved out of range.

McMorrow throws a looping overhand right but Spliff ducks down to avoid it.

and McMorrow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McMorrow thows a body shot but no joy.

enabling Spliff to counter with a crisp jab.
Spliff lands a leg kick that knocks McMorrow off balance momentarily.
McMorrow misses with a wild body shot.
McMorrow tries to land a front kick but Spliff steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
McMorrow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

McMorrow connects with a body shot that sends Spliff's belly button to the back.
Spliff connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
McMorrow dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Spliff. That did some damage!
A shot to the liver by McMorrow. Beautiful body shot.
McMorrow throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Spliff sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mustaffa Spliff has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sean McMorrow is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
McMorrow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Spliff.
Some wild striking there from Spliff.
Spliff ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McMorrow moves away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Spliff crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McMorrow - the referee stops the clock and Spliff gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McMorrow. Spliff manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
McMorrow lands a jab.
Spliff takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Spliff is looking to clinch but McMorrow is avoiding it.
Spliff is looking to slow McMorrow down with leg kicks.
Spliff tries to score a power double leg takedown but McMorrow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Spliff somewhat.

McMorrow shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Spliff is trying to defend but McMorrow finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sean McMorrow.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for McMorrow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
