Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hosea Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen 50 Cent - God Gave me Style as his entrance music. Jon Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hosea Kerr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab from Kerr misses. Jones tries to clinch there but Kerr circles away.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Kerr moves out of range easily. Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kerr was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones. Nice body kick there by Jones. Jones rushes Kerr and presses him up against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Kerr jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Kerr gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jones, right into the meat.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws a head kick but Kerr moves out of range.

Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Kerr, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hosea Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones rushes Kerr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jones misses with some punches.
Kerr is trying to pull guard but Jones has him pressed against the cage. Jones tries a body shot but Kerr blocks it.

It looks like Hosea Kerr has been cut. Jones lands an elbow that stopped Kerr in his tracks for a moment. Jones lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Kerr tries to work over Jones's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jones's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Kerr tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones misses with a punch on the inside.

Hosea Kerr's cut is getting worse. Jones lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Kerr blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by Kerr. Jones misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Hosea Kerr's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Jones lands an elbow that stopped Kerr in his tracks for a moment. Jones is looking to control Kerr's arms but Kerr gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jones has his back to the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerr is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kerr is breathing heavily. The referee calls for Jones to work.
Jones lands an elbow inside that Kerr shrugs off.
Jeez, Hosea Kerr's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Jones misses with a punch on the inside.
Kerr is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jones to keep the fight standing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kerr jumps guard but Jones turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jones content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones pushes Kerr back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hosea Kerr's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jones throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kerr is rocked! Kerr drops his hands momentarily and Jones needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Kerr just on the top of the head. Kerr drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Kerr - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jon Jones! Jon Jones was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
