Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oscar Quinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brandon Longson! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longson closes the distance and pushes Quinn back into the cage. Quinn breaks from the clinch.
Longson throws a lazy head kick and Quinn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Quinn. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Quinn throwing strikes from guard but Longson blocks nicely. Quinn not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Quinn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Oscar Quinn. Sloppy strikes from Longson. Those never looked like landing. Brandon Longson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quinn on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Oscar Quinn has been cut. Longson throws a combination that misses and Quinn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Longson throws a sloppy head kick and Quinn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Longson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Quinn sees it coming and avoids it easily. A head kick by Longson misses and Quinn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Quinn tries to clinch but Longson is having none of it. Quinn moves into range and clinches up with Longson. Quinn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Longson gets in close and tags Quinn with a short punch that almost sends Quinn to the mat! Oh Quinn is in big trouble! He turns his back on Longson, trying to create some distance but Longson rushes him, striking wildly and Quinn goes down! The referee tackles Longson into the cage to end the fight! Longson is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon Longson! During a confident post fight interview, Brandon Longson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
