Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snitchell scores with a push kick.
Snitchell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tierney closes the distance and clinches up with Snitchell, looking for a takedown. Tierney pushes Snitchell against the ropes but Snitchell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tierney closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Snitchell quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Tierney creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Tierney has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Snitchell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tierney avoids it really well and circles away.
Hayden Snitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Snitchell.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tierney defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Snitchell.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Snitchell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tierney pinned against the ropes. Tierney gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tierney closes the distance and clinches.

Tierney has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Snitchell after a bit of a struggle.

Tierney is trying to trip Snitchell. He has hold of a leg but Snitchell is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tierney persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Snitchell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tierney postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tierney accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tierney's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Tierney is working Snitchell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Tierney stands up from Snitchell's guard - Tierney perhaps looking for a knockout.
Snitchell circles away from the clinch attempt.

Tierney shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tierney was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tierney works to advance to full mount. Snitchell defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Snitchell in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Tierney is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Snitchell. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Tierney is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Snitchell has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Snitchell refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Snitchell's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brennan Tierney!
Brennan Tierney decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
