Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Harkimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Rook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rook has chosen Mr Krinkle as his entrance music. Harkimo has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Keijo Harkimo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keijo Harkimo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Rook! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rook goes for a double leg but Harkimo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Harkimo continues to drive forward. Harkimo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Harkimo goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Rook gets a double leg takedown into Harkimo's guard. Harkimo is breathing heavily. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Rook trying to control but Harkimo is working from the bottom. Harkimo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rook might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Harkimo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Rook throwing strikes from guard but Harkimo blocks nicely. Harkimo trying to keep a closed guard but Rook is proving a slippery customer.
Rook trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rook pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harkimo is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rook passes into half guard. Rook lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Rook uses his free foot to push down on Harkimo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Harkimo. Rook landing strikes, looking to finish! Rook has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This has been an exciting period of action! Rook is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Rook!
