Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Custer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivey has chosen Friday as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Custer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
42 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Ivey! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivey fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Ivey has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Custer throws a leg kick which misses Ivey's front leg but catches the back leg as Ivey tries to avoid it. Custer lands a glancing blow to the side of Ivey's head. Custer misses with a body shot.
Custer looks to land a right hand but Ivey moved out of range. Custer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ivey. Ivey throws a head kick that misses. Custer moves away from the strike by Ivey. Custer misses with a looping left. Ivey wants to clinch up but Custer keeps it at a distance. Custer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Barracks - LOD in the buildup to the fight. Ivey jabs Custer to the body, keeping him at a distance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ivey pushes Custer up against the cage in a clinch. Custer throws a punch but it's blocked by Ivey. Custer manages to break the clinch.
Ivey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Ivey scores with a kick to the body.
Custer throws a leg kick and Ivey counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ivey. Ivey throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ivey throws a big elbow that misses. Ivey wants to control from the top but Custer keeps moving. Ivey landing some decent shots from guard. Ivey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Custer keeping full guard, as Ivey tries to pass. Ivey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ivey preventing the sweep. Ivey looking to sit in guard and control but Custer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Custer scoring with punches to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ivey looking to hit a scissor sweep but Custer is one step ahead there. Ivey is looking for a triangle but Custer pushes his legs off easily.

Ivey is pressing down on Custer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Custer lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ivey wants to stand up but Custer is controlling him. Ivey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Custer trying to control the position from guard on top but Ivey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ivey trying to keep a closed guard but Custer is proving a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ivey throws a right and a left that Custer avoids nicely. Custer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. This has been an exciting period of action! Custer swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ivey. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ivey lands with a kick to the temple. Custer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Jesse Custer has been cut. Ivey misses with a body shot.
Nice uppercut there from Custer. Ivey lands a nice leg kick that just misses Custer's sensitive parts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phil Ivey dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jesse Custer's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Custer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ivey manages to avoid it. Custer moves out of range of the body kick. Ivey swings for the body but Custer moves out of range.
Custer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ivey. Ivey thows a body shot but no joy. Ivey looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ivey tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Custer is able to avoid easily. Ivey chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Custer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Ivey gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Custer to score an easy takedown into full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ivey keeping moving, preventing Custer from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ivey is looking to sweep but instead, Custer has passed into half guard.
Custer is trying to control. Ivey wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ivey is trying to control but can't.
Ivey is refusing to be controlled, as Custer sits in half guard. Ivey wants to improve his position but Custer is controlling well.
Custer scoring with strikes to the body and head. Custer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ivey keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ivey is trying to get back to full guard. Custer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Custer landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ivey has a hand on Custer's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Custer takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Ivey is looking to improve his position but Custer isn't that keen on the idea. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Custer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ivey's face.
Custer looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Ivey covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
