Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ravi Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jenkins's choice of entrance music: Mary Jane. Ravi Singh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Ravi Singh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thurgood Jenkins! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Jenkins connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jenkins tests Singh's chin there with a solid looking shot. Singh moves out of range of the body kick from Jenkins.
Thurgood Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Singh looks to land a body kick but Jenkins moved away. Singh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Singh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Singh misses with an uppercut. Jenkins walks into a straight right hand from Singh. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Singh lands a nice shot to the body.
Jenkins throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Jenkins lands a jab to the nose.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Singh as he jumps to the side. Jenkins lands a nice shot that snaps Singh's head back.
Singh slips under a jab from Jenkins. Jenkins throws a nice looking combination but Singh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. No joy there for Jenkins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jenkins scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jenkins throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Singh. Singh dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Singh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jenkins waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Singh. Excellent takedown into side control there by Singh. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jenkins manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jenkins sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Singh defending well though. Jenkins is thwarting Singh's attempts to control the position. Singh looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jenkins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jenkins missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Singh taking some punishment here, with Jenkins in his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jenkins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jenkins is nestled in close to Singh, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jenkins not landing any meaningful shots this time. Singh trying to control but Jenkins postures up.
Singh is trying to get back to full guard. Singh is trying to control but can't.
Jenkins winds up and cracks Singh with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jenkins slips a nice elbow through Singh's hands, connecting with Singh's forehead. Jenkins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Singh doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jenkins. Singh is looking for a sweep. Jenkins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Singh is working hard here to advance position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jenkins missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Singh is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Jenkins jumps into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Thurgood Jenkins will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Singh leaves Jenkins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. An inside leg kick lands from Jenkins. Jenkins cracks Singh with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Good leg kick by Jenkins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jenkins has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Jenkins fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Jenkins throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Singh moves into the clinch. Jenkins prevents a body shot from Singh. Singh trying to stall but Jenkins improves his position.
Jenkins lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Singh backwards. Jenkins is working Singh over against the cage. Singh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jenkins gets the underhooks and prevents it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jenkins.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jenkins is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Singh pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jenkins is trying to pull guard but Singh turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Ravi Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thurgood Jenkins. Singh tries to throw a body punch but Jenkins avoids it by throwing Singh back against the cage. Jenkins lands a nice uppercut. Singh lands with a short shot to the head. Singh has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jenkins stalling against the cage.
Jenkins swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Singh is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Singh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jenkins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Singh. Jenkins lands a lovely overhand right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donk. Singh catches Jenkins right on the button with a cross. Singh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. This has been an exciting period of action! Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Singh, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Singh against the cage but Singh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Singh is looking to wear down Jenkins with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Jenkins fails with a takedown attempt. Jenkins thuds a left hand into Singh's body. Jenkins lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jenkins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Singh's calf. Singh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Singh checks a leg kick. Jenkins cracks the inside of Singh's front leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins misses with an uppercut. Good leg kick by Jenkins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Jenkins. Jenkins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Singh paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jenkins goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Jenkins avoids the body shot from Singh.
Jenkins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Singh's waist but Singh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jenkins off to one side. Jenkins moves in looking to clinch but Singh pushes him off. Singh lands a slapping body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Singh slips a jab and a cross from Jenkins.

Singh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jenkins tries to avoid it but Singh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jenkins to the ground. Jenkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Singh throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jenkins was covering up waiting for the punch and Singh finishes the takedown easily into guard. Singh with a flurry of punches that miss. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Singh wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving. Singh looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Thurgood Jenkins will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Jenkins looks to land a left hand but Singh moved out of range nicely. Singh lands a really nice looking cross but Jenkins seems unphased.

Jenkins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Singh throws a leg kick but Jenkins sees it coming and checks it nicely. A clash of legs there as Singh blocks the low kick. Singh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins tries to clinch up but Singh circles away and keeps his distance. Singh catches Jenkins with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Jenkins jabs Singh right on the nose. Singh blinks but takes it well. Singh scores with a hook to the body. Jenkins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Singh blocks a low kick nicely. Singh scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Jenkins misses with an attempted mid kick.
Singh takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jenkins throws a body kick that misses. A telegraphed right hand from Jenkins misses the target. Jenkins connects with an inside leg kick. Thurgood Jenkins is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Singh takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Singh defending well as Jenkins loads up on a big left hand. Jenkins lands with a thumping leg kick.
Singh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Singh grinds an elbow into Jenkins's temple. Singh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jenkins keeps working. Jenkins is trying to escape the position but Singh is controlling the position. You can see the frustration on Jenkins's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ravi Singh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh misses with the ground and pound. Jenkins dodges the ground and pound from Singh. Jenkins taking a bit of punishment here - Singh scoring with strikes. Singh is looking to take a break and control but Jenkins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jenkins manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Jenkins is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Singh wants to control but Jenkins is keeping him busy. We've been hearing that Singh has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Ravi Singh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jenkins wants to control but Singh is keeping busy and won't allow it. Singh looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Singh trying to control the action but Jenkins is working from the bottom. Jenkins gets full guard. Singh drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jenkins dives on top into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Singh thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Singh is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! Ravi Singh showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jenkins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
