Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Hatred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatred's entrance music is Soulfly - Pain. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chuck Smith was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hatred.
Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Hatred counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hatred scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Smith wants to stand but Hatred is controlling the position.

Hatred drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Smith manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hatred has Smith in his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hatred wants to sweep but no luck.
Smith wants to get up but he can't break Hatred's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hatred manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Hatred swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Smith is now in Hatred's guard. A big mistake from Hatred there, giving up the dominant position!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hatred unloads with some shots from mount but Smith bucks and avoids them well.

Smith felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

A big strike lands for Hatred! That's really hurt Smith and he's turned his back - Hatred keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Hatred jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

A very excited looking Max Hatred rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
