Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vito Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan O Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vito Barker has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vito Barker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan O Connor! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Connor moves to clinch but Barker breaks away and Barker counters with a right hand to the body. Barker swats away the attempt to clinch by O Connor. O Connor tries to close the distance and clinch but Barker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ryan O Connor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. O Connor tries to clinch but Barker is having none of it. O Connor closes the distance but Barker moves to the side and Barker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps O Connor thinking. O Connor decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Barker has one foot on O Connor's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. O Connor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Barker tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. O Connor is in Barker's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barker pushes O Connor off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. O Connor slaps away a takedown attempt from Barker, before circling back to the center of the mat. O Connor gets the takedown into side control. O Connor advances to mount. Poor strikes thrown by O Connor there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barker wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. O Connor trying to control but Barker is having none of it. Barker wants to hold on but O Connor pushes him away. O Connor throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Barker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. O Connor is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Barker reaches up and holds on to O Connor to control the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Barker really wants to buck O Connor off and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Barker that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Barker tries to buck O Connor off but he can't manage it. O Connor looking to secure an arm triangle but Barker defends it well. Barker tries to lock up and control but O Connor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. O Connor unloads with some shots from mount but Barker bucks and avoids them well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Barker wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by O Connor.
Barker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Barker squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
O Connor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Barker is looking to escape. O Connor thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. O Connor prevents Barker from getting the reversal. O Connor wants to control the pace but Barker is squirming around nicely. We've been informed that O Connor has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barker wants to hold on but O Connor pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan O Connor dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Ryan O Connor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Barker closes this distance looking for a takedown but O Connor circles away. Excellent takedown into side control there by O Connor. Barker is trying to control O Connor's posture but O Connor avoids it. Ryan O Connor has got the better of the ground game so far. Barker is trying to get back to half guard. Barker sneaks out the side door and pushes O Connor away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Barker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. O Connor was covering up waiting for the punch and Barker finishes the takedown easily into guard. O Connor is pulling down on Barker's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Barker trying to control but O Connor is working from the bottom. Barker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Barker won't allow O Connor to get back to his feet. Barker gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. O Connor looking to score a takedown here. Barker is defending well but O Connor drives through and ends up in Barker's guard. Barker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. O Connor is posturing up here but Barker has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! O Connor tries to roll out but it's too tight and O Connor has to tap! Slick submission there by Barker!
