Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyroon throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kilpinen moves into the clinch.
Kilpinen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tyroon backwards.
Kilpinen misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kilpinen tries to work over Tyroon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Tyroon lands a nice shot to the body.
Tyroon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tyroon missing with a left hand there. Kilpinen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Kilpinen throws a series of punches but Tyroon avoids them all with ease.

Kilpinen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tyroon.
Tyroon gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kilpinen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Good leg kick by Kilpinen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kilpinen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kilpinen throws a leg kick which misses Tyroon's front leg but catches the back leg as Tyroon tries to avoid it.
A punch lands to the side of Tyroon 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kilpinen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That kick from Kilpinen tenderised Tyroon's leg. Tyroon is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kilpinen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tyroon looks winded!
Kilpinen connects with a leg kick. Tyroon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kilpinen lands an overhand right.
Kilpinen throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kilpinen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Tyroon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kilpinen sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Tyroon is rocked!
Kilpinen lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Tyroon up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Kilpinen from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Tyroon's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jaakko Kilpinen!
