Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connie Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cillian OSullivan Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Connie Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cillian OSullivan Jr! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OSullivan Jr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. OSullivan Jr wants to stand but Daniels has his arm trapped. Daniels is trying to improve his position. OSullivan Jr is putting a hurting on Daniels here, landing some big shots from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. OSullivan Jr is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Daniels knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Daniels might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Daniels is looking for a sweep. Daniels is working hard here to advance position. OSullivan Jr trying to control the position but Daniels is working away. Daniels prevents OSullivan Jr from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. OSullivan Jr wants to stand but Daniels is controlling his arm. Daniels tries to buck OSullivan Jr off but OSullivan Jr is having none of it. OSullivan Jr is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Daniels knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. OSullivan Jr tries to advance to mount but Daniels instead regains half guard. Daniels could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Daniels is trying to get back to full guard. OSullivan Jr tries to stand and escape but Daniels is controlling the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Daniels looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Daniels slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. OSullivan Jr wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving. Daniels had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. OSullivan Jr defends it easily. OSullivan Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels looking for a sweep. Not yet Daniels, not yet. Daniels is looking for a triangle but OSullivan Jr pushes his legs off easily.
OSullivan Jr trying to control but Daniels is working from the bottom. OSullivan Jr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Daniels looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. OSullivan Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daniels swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cillian OSullivan Jr has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Daniels throws a head kick that misses. The fight stays on the outside here - OSullivan Jr looks like he's thinking about clinching though. OSullivan Jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Daniels tries to avoid it but OSullivan Jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Daniels to the ground. Daniels escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Daniels throws a nice outside leg kick. Cillian OSullivan Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. OSullivan Jr looks winded! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. No luck for OSullivan Jr with that takedown attempt. OSullivan Jr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Daniels sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Cillian OSullivan Jr will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Daniels throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. OSullivan Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Daniels moves out of range easily. OSullivan Jr works over Daniels's head and body with a nice combination. OSullivan Jr looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. OSullivan Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. OSullivan Jr with a poor takedown and Daniels counters by clinching up. OSullivan Jr jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Daniels walks away with a smile on his face. OSullivan Jr gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Connie Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cillian OSullivan Jr. Daniels drives through with a takedown into guard. Daniels postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. OSullivan Jr is breathing heavily. OSullivan Jr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Daniels is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Daniels's corner. There ya go! There ya go! OSullivan Jr has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Daniels has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. OSullivan Jr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Daniels just stands there and leans against the cage. Daniels turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Daniels is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down OSullivan Jr's shoulder. That is not cool. You can see the frustration on OSullivan Jr's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Daniels cracks OSullivan Jr with a big right hand but OSullivan Jr just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

OSullivan Jr throws a head kick but Daniels moves out of range.
Daniels swats away the attempt to clinch by OSullivan Jr. OSullivan Jr has his takedown stuffed and Daniels holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A frustrated look appears on OSullivan Jr's face as he tries to break the clinch. OSullivan Jr looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Daniels jumps guard but OSullivan Jr stands there with Daniels around his waist. Daniels gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Daniels works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Daniels trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Daniels postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. OSullivan Jr wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Daniels is now in half guard. Daniels thows a huge punch but OSullivan Jr dodges it nicely.
Daniels is working for a submission of some sort.
Daniels wants to lay and pray for a moment but OSullivan Jr keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. OSullivan Jr is looking to control Daniels's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can OSullivan Jr avoid being mounted? Daniels looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
OSullivan Jr gets full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OSullivan Jr pushes Daniels off and scrambles back to his feet.

OSullivan Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. OSullivan Jr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. OSullivan Jr with a lazy takedown attempt and Daniels counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Connie Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cillian OSullivan Jr.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels is nestled in close to OSullivan Jr, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. OSullivan Jr tries to roll over but Daniels keeps him under control. OSullivan Jr throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Daniels manages to pass to side control. Daniels looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Daniels is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but OSullivan Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
