Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lisandro Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage has chosen Bon Jovi - It's my life as his entrance music. Jackson Savage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lisandro Magalhaes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Savage!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magalhaes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Savage.
Savage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Savage looks for a takedown but Magalhaes sprawls well.
We've been hearing reports that Magalhaes has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Magalhaes fails to land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Savage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Magalhaes keeps the fight on the outside.
Savage tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Magalhaes defends well and Savage ends up having to push Magalhaes into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Savage drops back looking for a leg! Magalhaes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Magalhaes manages to kick Savage off! Savage jumps back into Magalhaes's guard.

Savage is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Magalhaes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Magalhaes scores with a sloppy right hand. Savage should have avoided that one.
Savage tries to score a power double leg takedown but Magalhaes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Savage somewhat.
Savage closes the distance and clinches up with Magalhaes, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes Magalhaes against the cage but Magalhaes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Savage shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Magalhaes as he avoids it easily.

Savage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Magalhaes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Savage has managed to get both his arms back between Magalhaes's legs - danger averted.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Savage tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Savage has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Savage has hold of Magalhaes's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Magalhaes tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Savage cranks the arm and Magalhaes screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Magalhaes, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jackson Savage!
A less than humble Jackson Savage misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
