Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Dredd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dredd is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Am The Law!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Dredd!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A telegraphed right hand from Dredd misses the target.
Dredd throws a low kick but Costa avoids it.

Costa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dredd fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Costa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Costa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Costa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sloppy strikes from Dredd. Those never looked like landing.
Dredd misses with a straight left.
Costa clobbers Dredd with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dredd pushes Costa up against the cage in a clinch.
Costa is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dredd gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The referee calls for Dredd to work.

Dredd escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Costa shoots in looking for a takedown but Dredd manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Costa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dredd lands with a hook. Costa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Costa moves out of range of the body kick.
Costa looks to throw the jab but Dredd is out of range.

Dredd scores with a decent looking hook.
Costa misses the shot to the body.
Costa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

and Dredd counters with a nice double leg into side control. Costa won't be happy with that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Dredd wants to lay and pray for a moment but Costa keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dredd is staying tight to Costa's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Costa is trying to control Dredd's posture but Dredd avoids it.

Costa is not content to let Dredd control the position.
Dredd tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dredd has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dredd goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Costa rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dredd's guard! Nice work there by Costa!
Costa controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Dredd looking to hit a scissor sweep but Costa is one step ahead there.
Costa advances position into side control!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Costa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dredd is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Dredd dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dredd takes a swing at Costa's ribcage but misses.
Costa is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dredd misses with a body shot.
Nice defenses there by Dredd.
Dredd throws a leg kick but Costa moved away.
Dredd wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jackson Dredd seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Costa loads up on a big right hand but Dredd slips the punch.

Costa stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dredd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dredd drops Costa with a naaaaasty hook - Costa is in real trouble here! Dredd dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
