The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuudai wants to clinch.
Yuudai tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Veenstra looks to land a right hand but Yuudai moved out of range.
Yuudai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Veenstra swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A slapping leg kick lands for Veenstra.

and Yuudai counters with a shoot takedown. Veenstra fights it but they end up in guard.
Yuudai working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yuudai won't allow Veenstra to get back to his feet.

Yuudai drops back looking for a leg! Veenstra is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Veenstra manages to kick Yuudai off! Yuudai jumps back into Veenstra's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Yuudai tries to free his leg and advance position but Veenstra is retaining full guard.

We've been hearing that Yuudai has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Veenstra has his feet on Yuudai's thighs here. He's pushed Yuudai off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Yuudai screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
