Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krish Zbw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim De Jong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krish Zbw had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zbw tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. De Jong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

De Jong gets a double leg takedown into Zbw's guard.
Zbw is adopting a defensive guard.
Zbw will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
De Jong loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

De Jong drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Zbw dives on top into guard.

De Jong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Zbw drops back looking for a leg! De Jong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and De Jong manages to kick Zbw off! Zbw jumps back into De Jong's guard.

De Jong is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

De Jong wants to sweep here but Zbw controlling him for the moment.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

De Jong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zbw looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Zbw is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on De Jong's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Zbw wants to control but De Jong is keeping busy and won't allow it.

De Jong is stalling here. Zbw is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! De Jong seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Zbw has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

De Jong tries to buck Zbw off but Zbw is having none of it.
De Jong tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Zbw takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Krish Zbw overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

De Jong is desperately trying to improve his position but Zbw has a good base and remains in mount.
Zbw postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. De Jong looks a forlorn figure.

The referee warns De Jong that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. De Jong looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Zbw! Submission of the night perhaps?
