Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McGuirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conway comes to the cage accompanied by Money in The Bank. John McGuirk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Conway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John McGuirk! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGuirk throws a quick inside leg kick. McGuirk is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Conway throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McGuirk avoids a punch combination nicely.
Conway tries a low kick but McGuirk avoids it. A jab from Conway does it's job there. McGuirk thuds his shin into the meat of Conway's side. McGuirk fails with a takedown attempt. We've been informed that McGuirk has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. McGuirk shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Conway napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGuirk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Conway keeps working. McGuirk tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. McGuirk working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conway tries to bench press McGuirk off him but McGuirk keeps the position. Conway taking a bit of punishment here - McGuirk scoring with strikes. Conway trying to control but McGuirk flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! McGuirk lands a shot to the head. Conway covering up well and avoiding damage. Conway breaks McGuirk's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Conway trying to control the position from guard on top but McGuirk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Conway stays in close to McGuirk's body and controls the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Conway preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conway slips nicely into half guard. McGuirk wants to get back to his feet. McGuirk is not content to let Conway control the position. Conway is controlling the pace.
Conway seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McGuirk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conway is working for a kimura but McGuirk is defending it quite comfortably.
McGuirk pushes Conway off and gets back to his feet. Conway has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McGuirk finds it's way round the side to connect with Conway's head. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Conway pushing out the jab but it's not landing. McGuirk scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Conway doesn't seem bothered though. Conway takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McGuirk throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McGuirk moves away from the strike by Conway. McGuirk slips under a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conway missing with a left hand there. McGuirk was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. McGuirk looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. McGuirk slips a jab and a cross from Conway.
Conway loads up on a big right hand but McGuirk slips the punch. McGuirk uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Ryan Conway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Conway throws a head kick that misses. A big right from McGuirk misses. McGuirk looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Conway throws a jab when McGuirk was well out of range. Conway throws a right hand that McGuirk ducks under and follows up with a left that McGuirk also avoids with ease. Conway dips to his left and cracks McGuirk with an uppercut! McGuirk drops Conway with a beautiful combination! Conway stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McGuirk is looking for the KO!
Conway is rocked!
It looks like Ryan Conway has been cut. Look low, kick high! McGuirk uses the oldest trick in the book to send Conway tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! McGuirk is absolutely delighted - when Conway wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
